Leadership and Legacy
Nelson Mandela is a super famous leader all around the world for how much of an impact he had on South Africa in his lifetime. The goals that he achieved are absolutely history changing for South Africa and the world. His legacy still stands today of one that consists of equal rights for everyone is South Africa no matter what skin colour. Throughout his lifetime Nelson Mandela was constantly working to fight the apartheid that tried to crush the ANC. It was a slow crawl up the ranks but Nelson made it from young school boy to President of South Africa. He was the first black president of South Africa and also the first democratically elected president for South Africa. This meant that people actually liked him enough to trust him to run the country and do a good job at it to. He wasn't President for that long though as he stepped in 1999 but still continued to do good for South Africa like working with the multiple foundations that he set up to make a better future for South Africa. It was Nelson Mandela's strong never ending spirit that helped him see the end of the apartheid he tried every single move and tactic he could until it was removed. He was a great leader to the people of South Africa and the world as he provided hope that there would one day be racial equality and produced a strong standing legacy that will follow forever.
